Midway through our first term, we are assured once more of the faithfulness and goodness of our Lord God as we trust in Him, pray to him and learn every day more about his promises. We are truly blessed and thankful!
‘The Lord is good and his love endures forever; his faithfulness continues throughout all generations.’ Psalm 100:5

Each student carried themselves well through the application process and interview stage, and we are thrilled that these students have expressed their desire to serve our Primary School student community this year. I also want to congratulate every student who placed an application, encouraged others to do so and supported those who have been awarded the roles. It is this kind of student comradery that displays your willingness to serve and true strength of character. Well done.
Student leadership takes courage and a willingness to serve beyond yourself. Leaders looks for ways to grow and think laterally, they also aim to develop and expand their present understanding so they can apply that knowledge in other contexts for the good of all.
Staff will be encouraging all students this term to think broadly, laterally and deeply about their capacity and engagement at school and in their learning. We encourage families to continue these conversations at home for our students do have much to share. We look forward to helping all students build their capacity and understanding and enabling each one to develop their God-given gifts and character this year.
What is coming up for Primary this term?
Open classroom afternoons will be available on the 16th & 17th March. You are welcome to have your child tour you through their classroom and tell you about their learning programs. Invitations will be advertised soon and we look forward to seeing you there.
Parent teacher conversations will be held via Teams meetings on Thursday 25th and Wednesday 31st March. Please keep these dates pencilled in your diary. It’s a great time to meet with your child’s teacher to discuss learning goals for this semester.
Thursday 1st April is a student-free day for all students in P-6. This is also the day prior to first term holidays. Leading up to that day, Easter reflections will be part of our devotional time in classrooms.
