Wednesday 8th June 2022 was a momentous day in Heathdale history as Werribee's Primary School held its first Primary Athletics Carnival for students in Year 3-6. After a few technical hitches, we got underway with children participating in 100m, 200m and field events, including shotput, discus, long and triple jump. There were also novelty events for those who wanted to get involved – this included tunnel ball and an egg and spoon race. All the children had a wonderful day and we give thanks to God for the day because even though it was cold their was no wind and rain to be seen for the whole day with a mostly sunny day.
