Our Father,
We thank and praise You because You are the source of all wisdom and knowledge. Your Word reminds us that every good and perfect gift comes from above. So, we thank You for this gift of education which You have given to each and every student.
As we enter the Exam season, we ask that You would help each student to remember that they belong to You. May these exams be a celebration of what they have learned in this season, and that each student would be grateful for all that they have experienced and for all the ways they have grown. Keep their feet from stumbling and their minds from wandering into distractions that could rob them of precious time and energy from the most important things you have designed for them to do.
Lord, I pray that you would go before every student and stand beside them in the coming weeks. I pray that they would be strengthened by Your presence, and the knowledge that You are with them always. Grant them wisdom and discernment in this season. Help them to prioritize their tasks and assignments intentionally, and focus wholeheartedly on what needs to be accomplished. Enable them to be committed to their studies. Lord, strengthen each student when they begin to feel weary. Renew their spirits when they start to falter. Surround them with encouraging friends and wise teachers.
Father, as they enter the exam room, I ask that You would blanket them with Your peace. Ease anxious hearts, calm restless minds, and give them an ability to focus on the task at hand. Remind them that their worth is in You alone, not in any grade, not in any assignment or test or opinion. Lord, give them a sense of Your stabilising presence and a singular desire to do their best for the glory of Your name.
Father, take away every fear from every heart and replace it with confidence, as they put their trust in You and seek to do the very best with what You have given them.
