On the 8th of March, the Heathdale Werribee Secondary Campus came alive with cheers, laughter and the spirit of competition as students gathered at the VU athletics track for our annual House Athletics Carnival. With the sun shining bright and the temperature a perfect 28 degrees, it was destined to be a day to remember.

Amidst the sea of excitement, the Year 12 students took centre stage, injecting an extra dose of fun and hilarity into the event. From Teletubbies racing to Batman's valiant efforts to round up some fictional foes, and even an appearance by a few grandparents dashing a 20-meter track, the day was filled with memorable moments.

However, amidst the laughter and joy, there were also moments of sheer athletic talent that left the crowd in awe. We are excited to congratulate the outstanding students who emerged as champions in their respective age groups, showcasing not only their talent but also their dedication and hard work.
