"Heathdale Christian College's annual Christmas Food Drive again for 2023! This year, the drive has been organised by Year 9, 10 & 12 students in support of those who are struggling to get food on their table.
Food insecurity is a major crisis in Australia, and we need your help! In the past
12 months, 3.7 million Australian households have struggled with food
insecurity. As the cost of living increases, this issue continues to worsen.
The Christmas Food Drive will be running from Monday 27th of November to Friday 1st of December. We will be accepting donations of unopened, non-perishable food items, toiletries and hygiene products.
All donations will be given to FoodBank Victoria to assist Victorians in need this Christmas.
At the Werribee campus, donations collection points will be located in the Main Carpark ELC Carpark and A15. At the Melton campus, donations can be handed in at the Front Office.
Last year, we were grateful to raise over 1100 items. This year, with your help, we are aiming for 1500 donations.
