Years 11-12 students embarked on a dynamic and enriching art excursion to the NGV International and The Ian Potter Centre as part of their learning for Art Making and Exhibiting.
The day began with students delving into Yayoi Kusama's remarkable exhibition, an immersive and multisensory experience that captivated them with its bold and imaginative creations.
After exploring additional gallery spaces within the NGV, the group continued to the Ian Potter Centre for the Top Arts talk. Here, they were introduced to an exceptional selection of artworks by Year 12 students, gaining insight into their creative processes and artistic achievements.
The excursion concluded with students exploring the rich history of works in the Australian Art Collection.
After a full day of creativity and discovery, the group returned home, enriched by the experience.
