This last week of term at Heathdale has been a busy, productive and exciting one for our Primary community, with many and varied highlights.
Just this week, we celebrated Book Week with a Virtual Dress Up Day on Wellbeing Wednesday, along with having some fun with our special guest puppeteer. Recently, we have also enjoyed making pancakes with Mr Grace and seeing Andino the Magician perform his incredible tricks. It has been a wonderful time to learn and laugh together and enjoy all these events in community with one another.
Teachers have also had opportunity to speak with many of our parents and caregivers during Parent-Teacher discussions this week. This is always a helpful time to discuss learning and the different challenges and successes for students, and we are grateful to all the extraordinary support parents and families have given to our students and staff this term. We have appreciated working together to help our students remain engaged with their online and offline tasks.
While each of us have had to adapt and be flexible making regular adjustments along the way, we have been pleased to congratulate each student’s efforts at our recent end-of-term assemblies.
May the Lord bless you as we all look forward to a restful term break accompanied by some pleasant spring weather for us to enjoy being outdoors.
