We are thrilled to announce the completion of our latest project in our Kinder Garden! With pride, we present to you the brand-new Kinder Music Wall, a lovely addition that will enhance the learning experiences of our youngest students. This achievement was made possible through the incredible efforts of Maryanne Nemcek, along with her father-in-law, and the dedicated support of our Kinder staff and Maintenance team led by Sam De Blank. We extend our deepest gratitude to all those involved in making this fun idea a reality.
At our school, we recognise the profound benefits of introducing music to children at a young age. Music is a powerful tool that nurtures creativity, cognitive development, emotional expression and social skills. By engaging with music, our Kinder students will gain a solid foundation for their future growth and education. They will develop an appreciation for rhythm, melody, and harmony, and learn to communicate and collaborate with others through musical experiences. All this can even be achieved on the pots and pans wall!
We desire an integrated learning environment where our Kinder program becomes seamlessly connected with our Primary school. By extending our curriculum from Kinder to Grade 6 (K-6), we aim to foster continuity in education, enabling a smoother transition for our students as they progress through their academic journey. This holistic approach to education ensures that our students receive consistent guidance and support, building upon their knowledge and skills year after year.
We are grateful for God's blessings that have guided us throughout this project and continue to bless our school community. As we embark on this new chapter, let us remember the importance of nurturing our children in God's word from a tender age. By instilling faith-based values and teachings, we lay a firm foundation for their spiritual growth and moral development.
In other exciting news from our Kinder program, our little ones have been delighting in dramatic play, where their imaginations soar, and they can bring stories to life. Additionally, they have created an Ocean Corner, immersing themselves in a world of marine wonders. Another fun activity has been their corner dedicated to making and enjoying ‘Wombat Stew’, a favorite book among the children. Moreover, we eagerly anticipate an upcoming traffic excursion, providing our students with valuable real-life experiences.
It is truly a blessing to witness the enthusiasm and joy our Kinder students exhibit as they embark on their educational journey with a strong foundation in God's love and teachings. We are excited to see their growth and achievements in the years to come, and we thank all those who have contributed to their success.
