On Friday 17th of June, our Staff put on a Biggest Morning Tea to fundraise for the Cancer Council for our 18th year running. This year, teams and departments from across our Werribee and Melton campuses set up their own creatively themed and decorated stalls, complete with sweet and savoury treats alike... but mainly sweet.
There were a number of imaginative stalls to enjoy, with themes including:
Melton
- High Tea (Main Staffroom Team)
- Mad Hatter’s Tea Party (Admin Staffroom Team)
Werribee
- Beach (Year 1, 2, 3, 4 Team)
- Ross Grace-ing Table’ (Library Team)
- Team Mrs Harvey (Mrs Yvonne Harvey)
- Hawaiian Luau (Year 5 & 6 Team)
- Let Them Eat Cake (Admin and Finance Team)
At Werribee, staff members could vote on their favourite stall, and the winning title went to the Year 5 & 6 team with their Hawaiian Luau theme!
Our annual Biggest Morning Tea is an opportunity to enjoy community and creativity but is also a time to come alongside our wider community by fundraising for the Cancer Council. Funds raised go towards vital cancer research, support services, prevention programs and advocacy. Our staff were excited to smash their fundraising goal and ended up raising a grand total of $1,451.
