Heathdale flower Life at HCC

Our Staff

At Heathdale, our Staff are exceptional educators, leaders and professional employees who are part of a culture which pursues excellence and a deep commitment in serving God through their work.

Led by the Senior Leadership Team, we have over 300 suitably qualified Teaching and General Staff across both campuses, all with an active Christian faith background. This enables our purpose to be achieved through everyday interactions, sifted through balanced Biblical conversations.

Our Teaching Staff are qualified educators who are passionate about helping each child find his or her God-given gifts and talents through nurturing curiosity and developing the skills required for deep learning. As students journey from Kindergarten through to Year 12, the staff encourage them to be wise and discerning in all aspects of their education. This nurturing guidance develops an attitude of excellence that is reflected by our students working to achieve their very best. Our teachers strive to demonstrate a love of God through their daily lives beyond the classroom.

Our General Staff are committed to providing an atmosphere of excellence to our College through their professional giftings and talents, enabling our teachers to focus on our unique distinctive of Christian Education to develop our students academic, spiritual, physical and emotional learning.

To be true to our College’s purpose and vision, all staff have active Christian faith and are provided with support to ensure that as a staff member they devotedly express their faith in everything they do. Staff members meet each morning for devotions and prayer, with prayer being focused on the activities of the day and the needs of students and other community members.

As a College, we value our staff members for who they are as individuals made in God's image, as well as the incredible effort and work that they sow into Heathdale.
