Project Coordinator - Property

Heathdale Christian College is currently recruiting for a newly established position of Project Coordinator - Property to join the College.

Permanent Full Time

This position is responsible for managing and coordinating Capital Works & Property Projects throughout the College from commencement to completion at both Werribee and Melton campuses Our successful candidate will work closely with the Property Manager and assist in managing the key administration, financial planning and oversight of Capital Works projects and budgets both short and long term for the College requirements.

To be successful in this role you will need to demonstrate or have:
Significant experience in capital works project management, design, construction and contractor management, preferably across a range of projects.
Desirable to have qualifications in project management, engineering, architecture, construction, quantity surveying building surveying or equivalent.
Knowledge of design and construction issues, and ability to present practical solutions, associated with capital works projects.
Demonstrated skills and experience in monitoring, controlling and managing approved project budgets and expenditure.
Demonstrated contract management and administration skills and experience.
Well-developed communication and negotiation skills with demonstrated engagement and collaboration skills and experience across a range of stakeholders and projects.
Ability to work autonomously.

Secondary Drama Teacher

We have a permanent part time (.8) position of Secondary Drama Teacher available at our Werribee campus for 2021.

Food Technology Aide

Heathdale Christian College is currently recruiting for a Food Technology Aid to join the Food Technology team at the College.

This role is to assists the Food Technology Teacher/s and department with ensuring the preparation and organisation of ingredients and facilities for each class.

To be successful in this role you will need to demonstrate or have:

Demonstrate interpersonal skills when relating to staff, families and the larger community.
Demonstrate a high level of communication and professionalism
Have the ability to work autonomously and/or part of team.
Possess strong organisational skills in prioritising own workload.

Laboratory Supervisor

Heathdale Christian College is currently recruiting a permanent part time Laboratory Supervisor.

This position:
* Permanent part time (Werribee & Melton)

This role is to lead the team supporting those aspects of the programmes that are delivered in the laboratories. The supervisor will lead and take overall responsibility for the team of technicians providing technical support and guidance for students and staff using the laboratories and facilities within the science department.

The Laboratory Supervisor will:
Be responsible for managing the day –to –day running of the laboratories in the Science department
Make effective decisions concerning the operation and management of laboratories, materials and equipment
Allocate resources to ensure operational effectiveness of the Lab tech team
Lead and motivate the Lab tech team
Prepare laboratories in readiness for internal and external audits

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
Degree or equivalent in a science related subject
Knowledge and experience in a science subject
Knowledge of general laboratory either in academic or industrial environment

First Aid/Anaphylaxis qualifications

The position of mini bus driver and administration will effectively drive and deliver our students to and from school. This position will also assist the bus coordinator with administration tasks, ensuring that all work and tasks are completed in a timely manner.
